[00:00:00] Will Adams: Grace, mercy and peace. In the name of God, our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Welcome to another episode of the Forum at Frazer. I'm excited to be here with some awesome folks who have done some really cool work in our prayer ministry. And I'm going to ask them to introduce themselves, go around, and also explain a little bit about their involvement in prayer, specifically here at Frazer So, bj, why don't you start us off? [00:00:33] BJ Nave: I'd love to. Thank you. Well, I'm BJ Nave, and I am our congregational care and prayer ministry assistant. So a lot of my capacities with prayer is dealing with people who are going through difficult seasons of life, going through grief, going through just difficult times. Several prayer needs are sent to us through different mediums. And so being able to maintain that confidentiality is always important, but just being real with them, being present with them, and realizing that we have a sacred duty to present those requests to the Lord and to encourage each other. [00:01:04] Will Adams: Yeah. Awesome. Des. [00:01:07] Desire Guerrero: Hi, I'm Desiree Guerrero, and I serve in the hedge prayer protection prayer team as well as the altar prayer team here at Frazer Church. [00:01:20] BJ Nave: Cool. [00:01:20] Audrey McMullen: Cool. [00:01:21] Will Adams: Audrey. [00:01:22] Brittany Kent: Yeah, I'm Audrey McMullen. I serve both in our women's ministry and in our finance department. And so since I became a member of Frazer about 10 years ago, one of the things that really endeared me to this church was just the robust prayer ministry we have. You've mentioned hedge prayer already, and that's the type of prayer where we are praying during the services, during the discipleship hour on Sunday with that idea of praying, that hedge of protection, seeing the Lord at work, and there's many other ways to be involved. Recently also worked with the 40ish days of prayer initiative Sunday. So it's just a really special part of Frazer Awesome. [00:02:01] Will Adams: All right, Brittany. [00:02:02] Audrey McMullen: Yeah, my name is Brittany Kent and I'm director for the John Ed Matheson Activity center, also sports and fitness ministries, what most people know it as. And then when I first came to Frazer, I was involved in hedge protection, like the ministry, but now I currently serve with altar prayer. And then like Audrey and also Des, we helped with the 40ish days of prayer initiative. [00:02:28] Will Adams: Yeah. And I'm sure we'll be hearing a little bit more about that here in a second. Well, my next question is really a big question, and we could spend a lot of time on this, but it's just, why is prayer so important to the Christian walk? And any of you guys want to jump in on that? [00:02:50] Audrey McMullen: So I think. Well, obviously Prayer is just simply talking to God. But I think part of that is, you know, without prayer, you can't allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you throughout your day. And so that's kind of one aspect of it is just like having conversation with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but also like partnering with him in what's going on around me. So instead of like looking at life just the way that I see it, like asking God, hey, what do you think? What do you see? What's going on? How can I pray? And you know, that's intercessory prayer. That's praising, you know, spiritual warfare prayer. [00:03:33] Will Adams: Yeah, there's a lot of different kinds of prayer, which I think is something that some people may not really grasp, like how many different ways there are to pray. Well, anyone else? What is so important about prayer to [00:03:48] Desire Guerrero: the Christian walk for me is continuing to grow my relationship with the Lord. One of my go to reminders in Scripture is from the book of James, draw near to God and he will draw near to you. It's a reminder, hey, you should talk with the Lord, but also a reminder that God is always willing and waiting and just an expectation of you coming to Him. And that's always comforting to know that he's always available for you. [00:04:24] Brittany Kent: Yeah, I was gonna say, I don't think you can have the Christian walk without prayer because from the beginning of scripture to the end, we see God pursuing his people, either trying to start a relationship that's been broken by sin or draw them deeper. I love that verse that you shared. So you've got to have prayer, both talking to God and like you brought up making space to listen to him, which I think is really hard for a lot of us because we like to talk so much that that's an important part of it being a two way conversation. [00:04:54] Will Adams: Yeah. [00:04:54] BJ Nave: And then obviously it was important to Jesus. He was constantly praying to the Father, getting his direction. He says he did nothing without first, you know, hearing from the Father. And he withdrew many times for that very reason to pray and commune with him. And the fact that we have that opportunity as well is so key and so important. We do take it for granted. But you think about your friends and family, the people you love being around, they wouldn't really want to be around you if you never talk to them. That's not much of a friendship. And so if we're truly to believe that Jesus is our Savior and friend, then we have to have that communication with them. Otherwise how can you grow that relationship? You can't and it also says in Scripture to pray without ceasing. So realizing that you can talk to God anytime, any place, anywhere, without necessarily having to be in this reverent posture of prayer. You can be in the car, clearly with your eyes open, but you can be talking to God, praying to him in the midst of any part and every part of your day. And the fact that you don't have to have this one writer specific way to do it is really cool that you can just talk to him whenever. [00:06:00] Will Adams: Our next question is going to be really fun. I'm eager to hear about this. Could you guys tell us about a time when God showed up in a particular way in a moment of prayer? [00:06:15] Brittany Kent: I had in the last couple of years, just when I was going through wrestling with something. One way that is helpful for me to pray is journaling. It just helps me to get my thoughts out and organized is to write them down. And so I was talking to the Lord about this situation. And as I wrote and I was writing my questions, the Holy Spirit started to speak back. And so I would ask him a question and he would answer back with scripture. I'd ask another question, he'd answer back with scripture. And I've never had quite that same experience before, but it truly was like a conversation. And it just showed me that God really is close, he is near. We don't always get an answer immediately like that, but he can, he's listening, he cares. And especially with having scripture as well, the Spirit can just bring that to mind when you're in prayer with the Lord. And that just gave me the confidence, the peace I needed, the next step I needed with that situation. [00:07:15] Audrey McMullen: I. My undergrad was in sports medicine, so I'm an athletic trainer, certified. And then here on staff, like, I work, you know, in ministry, sports and fitness ministry. But so I've had quite a few people come up to me with, like, hey, like, this hurts. Or, you know, can you take a look at this? Because that's my background. Well, ever since I joined staff here at Frazer the Lord's been doing this fun new thing where he's been teaching me the difference between, like, physical healing and spiritual healing. Like, the root causes of pain can be different. And he's been showing that to me in very different ways. But in particular, like, sometimes his clue in for me has been my hands have been shaking as I've been working with some people and I've gotten a picture of maybe what's attacking them or yeah, so that's been super fun. And like, Healing, obviously, can come in a variety of packages. Like, sometimes it's been instant and miraculous. Like, sometimes it's been, like, through modern medicine or. Or even, you know, the pain of a closed door. But, like, even just in the past three years, I've seen, you know, people be healed of cancer. I've seen people who had a miscarriage, like, get pregnant again. I've seen instantaneous, like, healing of things that were broken and then, yeah, like, miraculous provision in, like, impossible ways. And that's just, you know, over the course of the past three years, that's been a lot. But it's been really cool to see. [00:08:55] Will Adams: Yeah, it's amazing. And I mean, I think it's one of those things too, that when you hear people talk about prayer increasing your faith as. As a practice, it's part of the. The thing that I hear a lot of people saying is that as they spend more time in prayer, that they are more apt to see things in their life that are truly amazing. Are the kinds of things that really bolster your faith, that make it so that, like, how could I not believe? [00:09:28] Desire Guerrero: Yeah. [00:09:28] Brittany Kent: Just to piggyback off of that. One thing I feel like I've learned too recently is praying really specific prayers. And even if God doesn't give you that exact thing you want, the fact that you put your faith out there and asked him for something particular, a particular situation, when he answers, it just helps you know that it was him who has answered that specific prayer. [00:09:54] Audrey McMullen: At annual conference, we had a little boy who. He was in the activity center. He turned really quickly, and, I mean, his entire back kind of locked up. When he came to me, I saw him, and I was just like, the reasoning behind why his back locked up doesn't make, like, sense. Like, what he did should not have equaled what I saw. And it kind of looked like he had been twisted around almost like. I mean, his shoulder was up to his head. He. And like, it hurt him to just move in general. And as I was working with him, like, I could feel that his muscles started relaxing, but they weren't fully relaxing. And I thought, like, okay, it's just a musculoskeletal problem. Like, you know, maybe there's a spasm or something. And I. Then the mom said, because my hand started shaking. And I was like, I've. So. I've noticed this one thing that, like, when my hands start shaking, there's a spiritual root. And she had mentioned that about a month prior, he'd fallen out of a tree and gone to the hospital. Gotten cleared. Nothing was wrong. But that was kind of the last time that he looked similar to this position. And I was like, oh. And she said, in that moment, you. He was like, yeah, he climbed the tree and he shouldn't have. And immediately, just what came to mind was that verse, you know, if we confess our sins, he's faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. And so I shared with him that verse, and I was like, you know, like God says when we ask for forgiveness, he cleanses us. And, like, my hands started shaking a lot more, and I was like. And then Jesus also said, you know, like, the Bible says, like, God cast our sins as far as the east is from the west. So, like, if God's not going to remember our sin, like, we're not going to either. And then just over the course of me, like, talking with him and his mom talking with him, like, I mean, his back fully relaxed, and a couple of people saw him, like, before and after, and they were like, wow. I mean, night and day difference, like, he was in pain, he was crying to. Now he's like, up jumping around, like, loving life, laughing. [00:12:07] Will Adams: That's so cool. [00:12:08] Desire Guerrero: One of the things that I think sometimes we forget is that it's not in our timing to get an answer to a prayer for sure. For my husband and I, before we got married, we did a list of things that we desired for our family in the future. And one of them was to work for the Lord. And time passed, years passed, and our family started to grow. And we prayed some more, and we felt like, you know, it was time for a move, and we sought the Lord. And time passed. And again, you don't hear an answer, so you probably think, oh, it's a no, or God's not hearing. And, you know, God always has plans in between those answers. And so on a random weekend, you know, we came to Montgomery for a work trip, and we were praying, you know, lord, we don't want to just move anywhere. And we would bring up different locations, specifically Free Methodist Church. And, you know, it's just. It was just silent, silent, silent the whole time. And we came one weekend for a work trip, and we left smitten, and we couldn't explain why. And we prayed, and we were like, we think that Montgomery is it. And we presented to the Lord and God just like, smashed the doors open for us. The numbers didn't add up, the timeline didn't add up. And he, here we are, an answered prayer. [00:13:51] Will Adams: So glad to have you. Guys here too. [00:13:53] Audrey McMullen: So glad to be here. Yeah, I think that shows the perseverance of prayer too. Like not giving up, you know, and like that story of Jesus talking about like an unjust judge giving justice to like a woman that's just keep coming back. Jesus is talking about this woman who comes to this unjust judge seeking justice. And just for her nagging like this, just this unjust judge is granting her request because she just keeps coming back. And I feel like that's, you know, sometimes maybe in the stand culture of like instant whatever. Oh, for sure, we give up too easily or we think it's a no, or we think it's a closed door, or instead of that, you know, ask and I'll be given to you, seek, you'll find, knock, the door will be opened. [00:14:41] Will Adams: Yeah. And I mean, I feel very fortunate in that I grew up in a family with my mother is still quite a prayer warrior. And I got to see several things happen where somebody that she had prayed for, somebody that she'd prayed for for decades, more than one occasion, had a breakthrough, came to know the Lord. These different kinds of, we're talking lifelong prayers. And that's the kind of thing that if you don't see it, it can be very hard to kind of have that faith. But it is. I can just, I can say from seeing that with, you know, not just her, but many lifelong Christians, many of those kind of prayer warriors, that there are many times where it's like, you know, hey, it's in God's timing. And when it does happen, you kind of look at it and go, oh, that was this all. It worked, it worked this way. And so, yeah, from that standpoint, quite often in retrospect, you look back and you say, oh, I see where it would have been the wrong time if it had happened right when I wanted it. And so there are many things, in fact, I think in a lot of ways a lot of Christians who have been Christians a long time, I think most of us have some prayers that we've been praying for a long time where we're asking for something and we just continue to bring that before God and say, you know, God, change this, change me, whatever you need to do, sanctify me more in my life so that I see this differently if that's what needs to happen. But that is sometimes a year long process or years long process or lifelong process in many cases. [00:16:35] BJ Nave: One of the beautiful things about prayer is that every person that ever comes to salvation in Christ is because someone or some group of People have been praying for that day to happen. Parents, grandparents, friends. Whether or not you live a rebellious life or not, someone is praying for you to come to know Christ as you, your Lord and Savior. And so I think that's one of the overlooked prayers in so many people's lives that you know, and where we're all at today, people have invested in us and prayed for us on our journeys. One of my answered prayers was actually not mine. It was my mother's. Because when I was born, part of my story is that I was born with this lame thing called developmental delays, because they didn't have a cool name for it. But essentially it looked as though my brain had been indented, as though I had been dropped or something. And my mom assures me she did not drop me. But because of that, I wasn't able to speak until I was two years old. I couldn't hold my head up unassisted until I was 1, and I couldn't walk until I was 3. So there was just all these different things and doctors saying, you'll never be normal. You know, your kid's just going to be. This is his lot in life, so to speak. But my mom did not take that answer. She took me literally to anybody and everybody that would ever pray and say, pray for my son, put hands on him, anoint with oil, whatever, pray, pray, pray. And so she did for about four years. And then shortly before I turned four, I went to another routine appointment, and all of the brain scans and everything came back clear. And the doctor had no idea how. He said, there's no medical explanation for this. And right there in that office, my mom says, I know what happened. God healed my boy. And so she's called me her miracle child ever since then. And then flash forward, you know, several years, and by God's grace, I was able to serve in the Marine Corps. And that was another answer of prayer. When it was time to deploy, God gave me this beautiful blessing of an assurance that I was going to come home safe before I ever left. And that's not something that everyone gets. And that was challenged by a friend of mine three different times. And I had to gracefully rebuke that temptation because I knew that I couldn't give up on what God had told me. Well, about two months into that deployment, there was an attack on the base. And so it's about midnight, and I'm like, lord, help me to be vigilant that I don't fall asleep on this post, but don't let me give in to Fear, because you've told me, I'm coming home safely. And long story short, he did bring us to home safely. And that was just one of those moments where I realized how good God is. When he gives you that answer on the front end, that's really, really cool. But also when you go deeper to him in prayer, you get to see his hand moving through those whole situations, through conversations, through those godson's, if you will. And then you see how he worked everything together for his good, for our good, and for his glory. And so those are just really cool moments where he's just affirming, hey, I hear you. But like you said earlier, it's not always in our timing, it's in his timing. And he doesn't realize, we don't realize sometimes that if we got the answer prematurely, it would have had a negative consequence that God wanted to ensure didn't happen. Or even when he says no, it's still for our good and for his glory. And on the other side of it, we're like, oh, that's why, you know, because you knew this would happen. But yeah, when we just trust him, let him handle those details because he's God and we're not in those moments, we can just be still and know that he is God and he just grows that relationship day by day, prayer by prayer. [00:20:11] Will Adams: Yeah. And I mean, it's a muscle. I think you have to exercise it. I think there's a sense of like, some people may hear folks like those seated in front of me and say, like, well, yeah, but that's easy for you. And I kind of feel faith that you're talking about bj And I think in one sense it becomes more of a second nature. But it is something that you do have to work at is handing over that kind of trust, that kind of faith. And that leads me to the kind of final question, which is if there's someone here listening today who doesn't have a routine prayer life, maybe what are some tools, maybe that you might encourage them to adopt to engage in better conversations with God. [00:21:05] Brittany Kent: One that I have used and I got this from Donald Whitney. I think the book is praying the Scriptures or praying the Psalms, but it uses the Psalms. So it's a simple thing you could use every single day if you wanted to. Today is the 14th, so I would start, I would look at Psalm 14:14, I would skim through it, I would see if anything there resonates. If not add 30. So I'd look at Psalm 44, Psalm 74, and chances are you're going to find something that sticks out or yeah, I'm going through that, or my friends going through that. So then you pray through it more deeply. You read it line by line or paragraph by paragraph. You can do it quickly or you can take a long time with it and you just stop whenever the Holy Spirit prompts you. Maybe you did come into it with a situation already that you wanted to pray about, or maybe you're feeling stuck. And I've used that sometimes when I'm feeling kind of stuck in my prayers. I want to get back into a rhythm of prayer, but I just feel like I don't know where to start. So I'll go, well, let me go back to the psalms. And it gets you going again, it gets that conversation going again. And also it's something, if you do work it into a daily routine or a couple of times a week, it gets you more familiar with the psalms, you're going to be coming back to the same ones again. And so it gives you experience, learning to pray about things you wouldn't think about praying on your own. And it gets you praying God thoughts back to Him. So I would say that could be a great tool that people could use. [00:22:33] Will Adams: That sounds great. [00:22:34] Desire Guerrero: I believe that the greatest tool you can have is the Bible, as simple as starting with one verse. And you know, prayer is such a unique thing that it doesn't necessarily always requires words like our 40 days of prayer. You know, we had a prayer room and we created stations where there's so many opportunities of how you can communicate with God. Whether it was drawing a portrait or coloring scriptures of a drawing, writing on a post it note, writing a song, singing a song. There's just so many ways that you can communicate with the Lord and it's just finding what works for you. And that might take some exploring. But my recommendation is always go first to the word of the Lord. For sure. [00:23:33] BJ Nave: Well, you're certainly right about that. God's word, praying it back to him. His Word is living and active. And so if you're at a loss for words, God's Word is always a great place to start. But also just realizing that like we said before, it's a dialogue with God. So it's easy sometimes to go on and on about what we want, but we sometimes forget to pause and listen for God to respond. Whether it's through His Word, through the scripture or something. He just speaks softly to our hearts. Because I think we really miss out on the true benefits of prayer when we don't Pause to hear his response, and then how we can apply that time into our daily walk. Jesus started his day in prayer, got his marching orders from the Lord, from the Father, and then he went about this business. And so I found every day where I start with prayer goes so much smoother. Now, that doesn't mean that nothing goes wrong, but the way I respond to those challenges, then they become opportunities, and I don't get flustered. And I'm able to navigate the day better because I started it out with my Savior, with my friend, with the one who already knows how it's going to end anyway. And so it's like you just get that extra boost from. From him, from the Holy Spirit to navigate those challenging situations. And then that's also effective witness when someone says, well, wow, you got through that fairly easy. I'm like, well, really wasn't me. I just, you know, was already talking to God about it, you know, the beginning of the day. And so when that came up, I had what I needed to go through that situation a little bit better. [00:25:09] Audrey McMullen: So one of my favorite verses comes from Romans, and it's, you know, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for, but the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that can't be expressed in words. [00:25:27] Will Adams: I was thinking of that one when DEZ was talking about, you know, our. It not always praying in words. That's a really great verse for that. [00:25:37] Audrey McMullen: So one of my things that I have been realizing is, one, I'm an extrovert. So, like, unless I'm moving or active, like, if I'm not speaking, there's. There's not much going on up there. Like, just be honest. But also too, like, there's sometimes that I don't even know what I'm thinking until I start, right? And I think I love that verse because it's like a, you know, a dotted line, like a clause at the end of a contract. It's like, even when you got nothing, like, the Lord has you. And I appreciate that. There's another verse in, like, Psalm 56. Eight, it says, you keep track of all my sorrows. You've collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. And if you didn't know, like, tears actually have, like, different chemicals in them. So, like, happy tears are different from sad tears. So when you're crying, like, your. Your brain is literally one, healing itself, but also two, it's releasing what your body needs to bring it back to a state of homeostasis. And God records all of those. So, like, you know, when you. When you don't have words or, you know, all you have is like this. This is the picture of all of the things that I have going on in my head. And I don't even know what start. Like, it's just surrender. Like, okay, God, like, here, here is it. I've got nothing. I don't know where to start. I don't know what to do. But, like, just that. What you got? Can you help, please? And I appreciate that because it's like, you know, sometimes even like, you trying to articulate, like, sometimes that just doesn't really touch, you know, the pain or even the joy. Like, you know, sometimes it, in my case is dancing. Like, dancing can express a lot. Like, joy, sadness, adoration. Yeah, I'm 80% of communication is non verbal. And so posture actually says a lot. And so for me, that's been a fun adventure these last couple of months of. The Lord reminded me, like, hey, Brittany, your relationship with me is like a dance. So we're gonna start dancing now. I'm like, oh, okay, cool. Let's go. I don't know what we're doing, but holy gamma charades, here we go. So it's been fun, but not limiting God. I think what you were saying, like, you know, not confining him to. I can only speak in this way, just as a fun fact. I was like, mid conversation with a person, like, trying to explain my hands shaking. And if anyone's ever seen the movie, bring it on, when they say, like, these aren't spirit fingers. These are spirit fingers. Like, literally mid conversation, I just started busting out laughing because that was funny. And, like, that didn't come from me. [00:28:29] Brittany Kent: That was the Lord. [00:28:30] Audrey McMullen: And I was like, he's got a sense of humor. Speaking of movie quotes over here. But yeah. So anyway, all that to say, listening to the Lord's fun. [00:28:39] Will Adams: Yes. Well, and I think kind of the idea of prayer is not just like one, a single medium that we kind of tend to think of it as primarily just an auditory thing. And it is just everything. It's visual, it's somatic, it's movement. You know, it's all of those different aspects. And I mean, I would say to anybody who is listening or watching, that if you've never cried out to the Lord, particularly if you're in the midst of really struggling with something, if there's something that's just like really on your heart and you're upset Even if you're, you're just like God. Why, why hasn't this resolved yet? I would say, you know, find, find a place where you can do that, whether that's in your car sometimes. Now if you are taking your small children to, to there, then maybe not in front of them, but find a space where you can really just, you know, shout and make some noise and just let it go and say to God, what. What do you want of me? And sit in that for a moment and, and truly listen. But also, you know, that, that air in the armpits stuff, I'm gonna. Okay, so just this morning, morning, Kim and I walked in on Brittany in between the sessions for vacation Bible school. She was alone in the north gym and had music playing and she was just moving around. And Kim said to me, what's she doing? And I said, I'm not sure. It may be touchy. And. But then she, we walked in and she told us all this beautiful, you know, just kind of things about how she had been really starting to see prayer as a dance. And that's. It really is cool because I'm also in an expressive art therapy class right now that is just discussing about all the different ways that we can express ourselves for the purpose of healing, all the ways that we need to express ourselves for our mental health. And so it's, it's just cool to. As you were talking about that, I was like, gosh, this is kind of a lot of what I'm. I'm in the midst of studying right now, so it was cool to hear that. Well, guys, before we wrap up, are there any more thoughts on prayer or our 40ish days of prayer recently since you guys worked on that or anything else that you want to share with the congregation? [00:31:18] Audrey McMullen: I might just say I think God is up to something. I think it's exciting to see him, you know, just open up pathways of communication. I think sometimes our. There's like a fear of failure because we want to get it right or we want to get it perfect. And the reality is like, you know, that's the whole point of the gospel. Like there's nothing that we can do to earn his love. There's nothing we can do to take it away. Like he's already sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for us. So, like he loves us. And so just wrapping our head around the fact that like what we said earlier, you know, it's just a conversation with somebody that you love. Like when you, when you understand that that opens up that pathway of communication. And it's exciting. [00:32:02] Will Adams: Yeah, it is. [00:32:04] BJ Nave: And I think he just wants us to come as we are real. I mean, I think a lot of people get hung up on the fact that I've got to have this special fancy prayer for God to really hear or I'm not trying hard enough. He's like, no, just come, just talk to me. You know, start out simple. I mean, even if it's just, hello, God, how are you today? I've done that before. I hope your day is going well. And then I think myself, that sounded really dumb. But he's like, no, just. Just talk to me and then go from there. And speaking about God's timing earlier, we are sitting on generations of prayer for this very season of life. Faithful prayer warriors and coordinators from the past, Jan Neal and Jackie Lunsford, Ava Garman. They have really built the prayer ministry here at Frazer from the ground up for decades. And they've been praying for us to one get Chris Montgomery here because they said we need a senior pastor that will finally see the importance of prayer and put prayer before the whole congregation and not just keep it to the worship services. And now we are starting to finally grow that culture of prayer here at Frazer. But also any and every ministry that we do here is only as effective as the amount of prayer that is being lifted up on the front end. But also, even after any ministry event we do here, we want those connections, those conversations. What good fruit has come out of anything we do here to continue beyond that ministry event, that worship service. And that's where prayer comes into play. And it activates the power of God to continue much further than any one event or one gathering. And so that's the hope that it would just become so natural and organic to each person here at Frazer that it's just a part of our DNA. We go to the Lord, we pray, we're in constant communication with him, and he helps us to truly walk in his steps. And how can we do that if we're not talking to Him? [00:34:03] Desire Guerrero: There is so much freedom in prayer. And I'm, as BJ is talking, I'm thinking about the 40ish days of prayer, our noon service, our noon prayer service, and just learning from different people, like their experience, but also being part of that journey with the people that were coming to the services. People got to experience and got to see different ways of praying, different types of prayer, which for many was new. And that's the beauty about God, that there's always something, something new to learn about Him. So it doesn't matter how long you've been in the faith that God always has something new to show us to grow and, and to build our faith. And, you know, just always remember that just one word, just calling the name of Jesus is enough to set your neighbor free. So. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:35:05] Brittany Kent: And I would say kind of following off what a few of you have said is each of our relationships with the Lord is different. So maybe you do try some of these different tools. But we have. There's so many other things we haven't even touched on, like being with the Lord in nature or through music or different ways. So just encourage people to keep trying, you know, to find those ways that they connect with him, the way he's built them. Because God has made each of us unique. And that's part of the beauty of that relationship is exploring that. That more and more with Him. [00:35:36] Will Adams: Yeah. Yeah, no, that's so true. Well, thank you guys for joining us.
